Solving a 625-square grid requires a methodical approach. Random guessing will fail. Use these advanced techniques:
On any grid size, a 2×2 box of cells can never contain more than one Queen due to the diagonal touch rule. If a colored region fits entirely within a 2×2 area, that region’s Queen must be in that box, meaning no other Queen can exist in that 2×2 zone.
Do not look at the whole board at once. Visually divide the 25×25 grid into smaller 5×5 sectors. Focus on solving corners or edges first. Placing a Queen in a corner often “beams” X-marks across the entire length of the board (25 squares!), drastically reducing the search space.
In the Infinity Edition, some colored regions snake across 10 or 20 columns. These are your greatest assets. If a region spans nearly the entire width of the board, narrowing down the Queen’s location within it can eliminate possibilities for dozens of intersecting columns.
